How to Post a Blog Comment
Want to add a comment to the Scuttlebutt blog? It's easy!
1. On the blog page, you'll notice a red text link at the bottom of each blog article that says "Post a Comment" (or "# of Comments" if others have already added remarks). Click on this link to open a page where you can add your comment.
2. On the Comments page, you can read other comments at the top of the page, listed in the order they were posted. Below that, there are three fields:
- The first field is for your nickname on this site. Your nickname can be almost anything, but it should always stay the same. (See the rules and restrictions page for other guidelines.)
- The second field is for your email address, which is OPTIONAL. You can add your email if you want other people to get in touch with you directly, but BEWARE: Your email address will be posted for everyone to see. If you choose to add your email address, rest assured that it will never be used by the Scuttlebutt staff for any purpose other than contacting you about your comment.
- The third field is for your comment. Please keep your comments concise and relevant. (Again, see the rules and restrictions page for other guidelines.
3. Once you've written your comment, click on Submit to post it to the blog.
4. To see your comment, go back to the blog page, refresh the page using your browser's "refresh" or "reload" button, and scroll back to the bottom of the blog article. Click on the "# of Comments" link and you'll see the same Comments page, with your comment added at the top.
