Solana Beach Dining: All You Can Eat

sushi solana nobu honeymoon
Honeymoon? Sweet.
- Yes, I've said it before: Nobu is my go-to sushi spot. But this time we tried something completely different. Being in a hurry, we skipped the Crunchy Roll and filled up on the "Stuffed Tomato" (which has no tomato at all, of course). And THEN we tried the "Honeymoon" -- a gorgeous concoction with raw oysters, sea urchin, roe, quail egg and other goodies. Finished up with some buttery special hamachi. Ichiban.

Nobu is at 315 South Highway 101, Solana Beach (858) 755-7787

- Solana Beach offers a smorgasbord of different restaurants and cuisines, including Mexican, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, European, Thai, vegetarian and of course, California cooking. Whether it’s steak or seafood, sit-down or take-out, casual or upscale, you’ll find the right food for your mood right here in town.

Breakfast? Choose from eight or nine places — most within a block of the beach. For lunch or dinner? You have dozens of outstanding options.

What’s your favorite dish? Send us a review of your latest local dining experience, and we may publish it here.
