Just over a month ago I had an occasion to take a client out and about for some leisure activities. We hit a few buckets at the driving range at Torrey Pines, caught a few races at Del Mar, and grabbed some great meals at Nobu and Blanca.
But as the week was winding down, I had one last trick up my sleeve -- hot air ballooning, which he had never done. A few weeks prior I had made reservations with California Dreamin'. Our ride awaited near the polo fields. The pilot was very professional, and the flight was smooth as silk. All I can say is, when you have a chance to look down at one of the most beautiful places in California, and you can impress the client, too, it's a win-win! I think I might owe California Dreamin' part of my commission. Thanks guys! |
